VGMusic.com's 14th Anniversary!

14 years ago, I started the Video Game Music Archive. It was an exciting time, where Geocities provided a place for free (yes, free!!) web pages. Along the way, contributions from staff and visitors have helped us reach over 30,000 songs. Heading into 2011, I'm seeking options to get it back to having regular updates, and most importantly get a long overdue site redesign in place. Thanks for your patience and support.

Wow 14 years is like old for such a website ! Sounds like it was here from the very start of the internet.

Hopefully the mods will "offer" archive updates... there is 2k files that are waiting, the older of them for about 2 years

It seems like recently, the majority of us have had REALLY busy schedules, which might possibly include the staff itself around here; but they're still trying to snag the time to get files taken care of. The MIDI files in question still have to comply with the guidelines set in place before they're even added to the archive.
