Fun with Replays

Postby Armageddan » Thu Sep 15, 2011 10:28 pm

Lately I've been developing a love/hate relationship with the TF2 replay system (only one in three saves properly, the rest crash my game). I've uploaded a few of my favorites on youtube, and thought I'd share my favorite here.

If you have any of your own replays for TF2, or similar replays or game videos you made that you'd like to share, feel free to post it here. :)

While not necessarily that interesting, I do have 15 Backstabs in a Dead Man's Keep, which is a video of me getting 16 kills in onr life on cp_degrootkeep, 15 of which were backstabs.

Actually, I may have a new replay from a few days ago where I got 17 kills in one life on the same map. <3 Degroot Keep.

Edit: Never mind, apparently it didn't capture that one. >:/ In fact, it looks like it captured the next life. Did Valve change that behavior at some point? (I didn't hit F6 until I respawned, whoops)

I've done that quite a few times. It's ALMOST as frustrating as saving a replay, only to find someone's strange weapon confused the game and corrupted the file.

I hate those things.

Which is why if you're planning on doing something magnificent you should take a demo instead.
