Thanks!! I love the 8bit RPG games, too. The Final Fantasy games are fantastic, and I also really like Ultima: Exodus. The music so perfectly fits those games. The emotional landscapes created by such simple sounds are astounding.

I can't tell you how excited I was to write music for a game like Virgin Blade, which is heavily inspired by games like Final Fantasy and Zelda. I grew up playing 8bit Zelda, and I loved every second of it. I remember using the candle to light a tree on fire, which would reveal a secret staircase, and I thought that was the coolest thing ever.

My personal favorite NES song is this one. It makes me feel like evil is lurking nearby.

You will definitely be able to get Virgin Blade through Desura and Impulse in August. It will be a little longer before we are on Steam.

Thanks again for your feedback! I'll keep you updated on the game's progress.

The Zelda Dungeon music just sets the mood doesn't it. LOL and to think I used to put those darn cartridges under my shirt and blow them!
