Thank you for taking the time to listen. I forget where I read it, maybe an old FAQ, where it was suggested that I not turn in my first MIDI until checking on the Forums if my work was acceptable. Apparently I pass the test!
I will adjust the tempo accordingly! Thanks!
Unfortunately, I uploaded the songs before asking if they checked out properly, so I will now have to update them (or it).
Seeing that Rayman is a single file to be run in DOS after installation, it has no separate music files, nor was a soundtrack released. Upon inserting the actual Rayman disk into the drive, the music files were named as such: Dream Forest 1, Dream Forest 2, Blue Mountains 1, etc. This is because during actual gameplay, the music files play at random, respective to the level and world (There is also the background ambiance to be accounted for). Basically, the person who manages RayTunes makes up his own names for the Rayman 1 songs according to his own imagination.
Rayman certainly made my childhood. To this day, it is the most challenging game I have ever played. The music is awe inspiring (and award-winning), the graphics are so fresh and brilliant, and the gameplay is superbly well-thought!
