I am actually really surprised I won, I thought Zensuka or Pongball would have easily beaten me.
Miss Fortune was really spazzy and syncopated, which is one of my weak areas, so I really thought it was the best technically.
Pongball's songs were very thematic and really reflected the title well, so I almost knew what to expect before even hearing the song.
To be honest, I thought this was one of the hardest SPCs to write for since a lot of the sounds were not easy to process.
They were all very sharp too, rather than the warm-smooth sounds I tend to prefer.
Also very disappointed-ru that all yous people did not submit a song.
Of course, YOU all know who I'm talking about.
It's like going to a steakhouse and they ran out of steak.
Maybe next time I guess.
And yeah, I was hoping to make one it's blatantly obvious me song and one to throw everyone off.
Unfortunately I only went with the blatantly obvious one since I ran out of time / ideas for the other one.
Here is my unfinished second song, which was supposed to be a parody of dubstep:
badstepSadly I couldn't think of a convincing badstep break and I didn't think it was funny enough/at all to be a parody.
(Probably needed Koolimpaas all over the place...)
My three samples were:
glock.wav = Microsoft GM glock. Something sampled.
fuzzybass.wav = Made on Sytrus I think..? Something made.
clicks.wav = Tongue clicks since I wanted to submit something recorded.
