Especially King Meteor! (Who uploads MIDIs every Christmas as well as every other month) A long time ago, I lost this port of the game somewhere, but I'm sure to be getting it for Christmas! Anyway, here's my gift to you, VGMusic! One day I was just starting to go on VGMusic, when something very anticipating happened... An uploader by the name Zed98 (of TVTropes fame) uploaded a MIDI from the game, LEGO Island 2! Despite him saying it's not as close to the original, I jumped for joy and downloaded it! Now here's my take on the song. It is from the GBA version of the game (you already knew that, right?) which is better than either of the ports of the game, because Silicon Dreams decided to start again from scratch before porting it to the GBA. (Most of the developers of the PC version quit themselves, and the rest rushed it in order to mooch) Here's the list of changes to the GBA version: * The island had been made alot bigger, with more buildings, shops etc. that were unused in the PC/PSX/possibly GBC versions. (the fire station was planned in the PC/PSX versions but was cut) * The story had been changed to fit the title better, so that the Brickster was actually getting his revenge. * All the buildings are deconstructed at the start of the game rather than later on in it. * Some of the characters from the first game (except characters such as Captain D. ROM or Rob Banks) were added back into the game for some more nostalgia. * In the PC and PlayStation versions, the dialogue had a correct context, but the way they say it has bad grammar. The dialogue in the GBA version had to be rewritten in a better way, keeping the same context. * All the bugs were fixed so that players would not have trouble playing it. (The GBA didn't have many bugs in it, unless you count its battery life power) * Some of the subgames had to been taken out due to their difficulty, and new ones were added to the game to make the game easier to beat (with the exception of OGEL sneak). * Parts of the music were edited because otherwise it would get annoying overtime, and the most of the tracks were given names, like the one you're hearing now. (the developers wanted the game to be a teeny eeny weeny bit more Final Fantasyish) * You didn't explore Adventurer's Island. Instead, the entire island plays through subgames instead. * The ability to get items was added to the game, instead of the islanders doing it themselves. * Wherever the Infomaniac falls in this version, he explains everything he says much better. (see above) * Return and Enter safely returned from the first game, and Pete Bog was taken out of the game. * The game has been made longer to make it more challenging. * And finnally, the has more replay value than the other versions. Players of this version thought that the changes made to the game made it better. Anything else I forgot to mention, email me. I didn't know what instruments I could use for the melody, but I made my decisions and the MIDI came out very good! Especially the melody! If your device doesn't like amplified pitch bends, you have no choice but to run away from this MIDI, because it has got one. Now, King Meteor, last month, he uploaded more Sonic MIDIs than Megaman. Most of the MIDIs somehow seem alittle familiar to me. I think he's in a Sonic mood. -MIDI Header Information- MIDI Type: 1 Number of Tracks: 7 Delta Time Setting: 120 -Midi TrackName Analysis- WinJammer Demo WinJammer Demo WinJammer Demo WinJammer Demo WinJammer Demo WinJammer Demo WinJammer Demo -Instrument Name Analysis- LEGO Island 2: the Brickster's Revenge (1999) GBA Asteroid Belt Dollypad 1984 Electric Piano 1980s Space Opera Harp Autopilot Strings MODBASS Jackrabbit Kit
