M.) Game System: Sony PSP Game Name: Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep Song Title: Land of Departure: Field - "The Promised Beginning" (GS/GM2) Sequenced by: Jeremy (D.) M. Other Information: "The Promised Beginning" by Yoko Shimomura, which appears as the field theme for the Land of Departure, from Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. Made in Cakewalk. This MIDI is looped (has two baked loops + loopStart/End), and plays best on a Roland SC-8820/50 or Sound Canvas VA, in GS or GM2 mode. Ever since I've played all of the Osaka team-specific Kingdom Hearts games, I've all noticed that their music sounds quite Roland-ish. This inspired me to recreate some of the BbS music, since it's all pre-rendered music, and no one's taken on the task of recreating at least a good portion of the game's music (least on this site (in 10+ years too!), and not the older tracks though, they already exist as sequence data in their respective games, both PS2/HD ReMix and even NDS). Took a while, plus I nearly forgot a few aspects of the music. Might try and see what this sounds like using the PS2 soundbanks, or even on the XV/Studio Canvas synths if I ever get one of those two (would sound better too, I think). With that said, you are free to use this however you want, least permitted per VGMusic terms and other general rule of thumb for using "derivative works" responsibly. Yes, this is also my first upload here. -MIDI Header Information- MIDI Type: 1 Number of Tracks: 17 Delta Time Setting: 960 -Midi TrackName Analysis- Track 1 Track 2 Track 3 Track 4 Track 5 Track 6 Track 7 Track 8 Track 9 Track 10 Track 11 Track 12 Track 13 Track 14 Track 15 Track 16 -Marker Analysis- "The Promised Beginning" from Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.
